However, at present, the grinding of castings almost all depends on manual work, the labor intensity of workers is high, the environment is bad, and safety accidents occur from time to time. Fewer and fewer workers are willing to engage in grinding work, and the labor cost is rising year by year. Many enterprises hope to use robots to complete grinding work. However, general industrial robots can only simply repeat the same action without touch, and can not adapt to the changes of casting specifications and dimensions. There is no good robot solution in the domestic and even international market.

  The intelligent polishing robot developed by Yuli company has successfully solved the above problems. Even for the same type of casting, the size varies by a few millimeters. After integrating the six axis force sensor, the intelligent grinding robot has the same hand feeling as people. It can sense the difference of casting size and adjust it automatically, so as to realize intellectualization and truly replace manual work. "This intelligent polishing robot has a high scientific and technological content. It can be said that it is the first intelligent polishing robot to enter the casting factory in China." Huang Yue said.

  The dust produced by grinding in casting factory is a major hidden danger of safety production.

  Huang Yue said that this casting polishing robot can sense the dust concentration during work and recover the dust by spraying water, that is, while polishing and polishing, add water to flush the dust to the lower tray and recover it all, so as to reduce the dust concentration in the working environment and ensure safe production.

  Tang Mingfu, manager of Engineering Department of Yuli company, said that with intelligent grinding robot instead of manual operation, the production efficiency has been greatly improved. For example, it takes one minute for a worker to polish a model, and more than half a minute for a robot. In addition, robots replace manual processes, which reduces the risk of human management and saves costs for enterprises. "At present, there are twenty-three thousand casting factories in China. Each factory needs to use the grinding process. The parts of each casting factory are different." Tang Mingfu said that the intelligent grinding robot can sense the difference of casting size and adjust it automatically. It can do a lot of work. It can be said to be the "industrial revolution" of the casting industry, which fills the gap in the application of this technology in China.

  According to Tang Mingfu, the company's R & D team spent more than a year developing this intelligent polishing robot, all of which are self-developed, including all core components, sensors, power assembly systems and control systems, which are at the domestic advanced level in technology.
